Here are some of the Christmas cards I made recently.
I used various paper collections and played around with cuttings using my Silhouette and Cricut machines, as well as punches and pieces from my stash. I keep a project box for Christmas in which I keep all papers and embellishments with a Christmas theme so that I can mix and match easily to put cards together.
I also filmed a video to show you how to stamp onto acrylic without your stamp sliding on the acrylic and messing up your image. I also explain how I store my acrylic stamps.
Recent Christmas Cards
In 2007, I started crafting and combined my computer skills in using software to design cutting shapes to decorate my scrapbook layouts, make home décor pieces and much more. I love to share by teaching others how to use the software for their die cutting machines so they can get the most out of their toys.
I think it's SO much easier to keep all my Christmas stuff in one place. I LOVE using those Iris storage boxes and my Dymo Labeler for everything anyway, but that way I can also keep it at the bottom of the stack until I need it. I keep my Valentines stuff in one box, and all my Tim Holtz embellies/doodads/goodies in one box. At least if it's in a nicely labeled and stacked boxed, I don't look so much like a hoarder!
ReplyDeleteIf they would fit in my Ikea Expedit it would be great, but they don't. I also keep themed stuff together, as well as all the items I need for projects. I use either the Iris boxes or plastic storage bags I get from Michaels.
